Thomas D. Adams has practiced law in Snohomish County, Washington, for over 31 years. After receiving his BA from University of the Pacific in 1970, he served three years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, completing his service as a Captain. In 1978 he was awarded his JD from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. His practice focuses primarily on business and real estate litigation. He has represented private individuals, banks, businesses, title companies and school districts in the Superior Court, Courts of Appeal and State Supreme Court. He has been appointed by the Snohomish County Superior Court as a Special Master assisting the Court in real estate matters and as a Hearing Officer. He also serves the legal community as an arbitrator and mediator.
As a member of the Snohomish County community, Mr. Adams has served on the boards of the Snohomish County Boys and Girls Clubs, the Lake Stevens Education Foundation, and Sherwood Technical Services. He has assisted Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs in the legal formation of their charitable foundations, and has drafted the organizational documents and charters for numerous nonprofit organizations including Community Kitchen of Snohomish and the Education Foundations for the Arlington, Lakewood and Lake Stevens public schools.
Mr. Adams has earned an AV rating from Martindale & Hubble which identifies him as having the highest level of professional excellence and ethics.
